Shelve an alarm from the Details dialog box
If you have the permission to shelve an alarm in FactoryTalk Security, you can shelve an alarm from the Details dialog box.

Tip: Server-based events cannot be acknowledged or shelved. |
To shelve an alarm
- From the alarm summary, select an alarm. The Details dialog box shows.
- Press Shelve ^.
- Enter the shelving duration (1-2147483647). The default shelving duration is 1 minute.
- (Optional) In the Comment text box, enter a comment. The comment is limited to 512 characters.
- Press Shelve.
The result shows at the bottom of the alarm summary display.
