Acknowledge an alarm from the Details dialog box
If you have the permission to acknowledge an alarm in FactoryTalk Security, you can acknowledge an alarm from the Details dialog box.

Tip: Server-based events cannot be acknowledged or shelved. |
To acknowledge an alarm
- From the alarm summary, select an alarm. The Details dialog box shows.
- Press the Acknowledge ^.
- (Optional) In the Comment text box, enter a comment. The comment is limited to 512 characters.
- Press Acknowledge.
The result shows at the bottom of the alarm summary display.
